The Golden Goose Thrift Shop

Can I Be a Golden Goose Volunteer?

New volunteer orientation takes place every Monday at at The Golden Goose Thrift Shop. (excluding holidays)

“Something wonderful happens when you volunteer”

Yes, become a member of the “Goose Gang!”  People who volunteer on a regular basis have a healthier outlook on life. They tend to be more dedicated and consistently report being happier. Young, old, professional – it doesn’t matter. Volunteering is good for everyone and it’s a great way to support your community.

The Golden Goose Thrift Shop is always in need of year 'round volunteers. Currently, over 400 volunteers donate more than 3,000 hours a month.  The “Goose” always has room for more volunteers to help with everything from answering phones, researching the value of items, testing electrical equipment, refurbishing computer equipment, running cash registers, providing customer service, sales floor merchandising, or helping in a host of other ways.

What is the purpose of the Golden Goose?

The Golden Goose Thrift Shop is a 501(C) (3) nonprofit corporation that provides funding to SaddleBrooke Community Outreach (community-outreach.org) and Catalina Community Services (www.catalinacommunityservices.org). These two organizations serve communities from Catalina to the San Carlos reservation. Many of their programs focus on children and seniors and provide much needed assistance and services to communities in both Pima and Pinal counties.
